Description

Cap ∅ 2-8 cm, convex at first, often with a tubercle in the middle, with curved down edges, becomes flat-concave and even funnel-shaped with age, brittle, without pubescence along the edges. The skin is smooth, slippery in wet weather, with barely noticeable concentric zones, and becomes green when damaged. Stem ~6 cm high, ∅ ~2 cm, cylindrical, very brittle, solid at first, hollow with age, colored in the same way as the cap. Turns green when damaged. The orange surface of the stem often has darker dents. The plates are slightly descending, very frequent, usually slightly lighter than the cap, quickly turn green when pressed. Spores are light buffy, elliptical in shape. The flesh is orange in color, quickly turns green at the break, has a pleasant fruity smell and pleasant taste. The milky juice is plentiful, bright orange, sometimes almost red, turning green in the air, non-caustic.
