The fruiting body of the yellow-greenish scale consists of a convex-prostrate cap with a tubercle (which in young mushrooms takes on a bell-shaped shape) and a thin cylindrical leg.

The diameter of the mushroom cap is 3-6 cm. Its surface is covered with small scales, however, when the fruiting bodies ripen, it becomes smooth and noticeably sticky. The color of the cap varies from greenish-yellow to light yellowish, and the middle of the cap is noticeably darker compared to the whitish and light edge.

The length of the stem of the fungus varies within 3-8 cm, and its diameter is 0.5-1 cm. It is characterized by high density, has a weakly expressed cap ring on its surface. in color – the same as the hat, and near the base it has a rusty-brown color.

The flesh of the flake is yellow-green, yellowish in color, thinned, has no pronounced odor. Spore powder has a brownish-yellow color.

The yellow-greenish flake begins to actively bear fruit from about mid-August, and continues until the second half of October. You can see this type of mushroom on old stumps left after deciduous trees and near them. The mushroom grows mainly in groups; due to its small size, it is not easy to see it in the grass. Doesn’t happen too often.
