The kid begins to prepare for this important step in life ahead of time.

Mom understands that it all started when the water recedes, pulling pains begin in the abdomen and lower back. And the kid understands that it’s time, even earlier. He prepares for the upcoming stress in advance: he learns to breathe, gains strength. Unfortunately (or fortunately?), None of us remember the moment we were born. The infant is unable to describe this journey. But we know something thanks to science.

1. The baby moves down a little.

A few weeks before delivery, the fetus sinks. As soon as the belly becomes lower, gynecologists and experienced mothers understand: soon. But a day before the event itself, the baby drops down a little more, as if taking the starting position. It is with her that he will begin his movement towards life. At the same time, the expectant mother feels some discomfort in the pelvic region, as if something is being stretched. This means that no more than a day is left until the hour X.

2. The baby shakes his head.

When the baby is in the correct position in the pelvic area, he begins to work with his head – literally. By turning the head, the baby creates pressure in the cervix, preparing it for dilation. Thanks to this pressure, the birth canal begins to open. Of course, this is an unconscious action, the baby is not aware of what exactly he is doing. But it doesn’t matter, what matters is that the process has started.

3. The fetal heart rate is beaten.

In some maternity hospitals, doctors check your baby’s heartbeat throughout the birth process. In most cases, the expectant mother lies under the CTG sensors until the active phase begins. This is necessary for the doctor to understand how the baby is feeling. His heart rate most often changes several times during the time the contractions are going on: it accelerates, then slows down by itself. This is completely normal – after all, your own heart rate also skips.

4. The kid is spinning.

Have you ever wondered exactly how a child comes out? Many people prefer to think that they are just emerging like a fish. Of course, not as easy and naturally as we would like, but the trajectory of movement is approximately the same. In fact, no, everything is a little more complicated. The fruit moves in a spiral-like manner – this makes it easier for it to exit.

5. Fomba fanao miaina.

The baby’s lungs are completely straightened out only after his birth, with the first cry. But he learns to breathe in advance. After all, it’s not for nothing that a baby prepares for birth in a day. When the mother has breaks in labor, she rests, and the baby learns to breathe. After all, very soon he will get oxygen exclusively by his own efforts!

6. He hears everything.

The infant begins to distinguish sounds long before birth. Therefore, it is quite logical that in the process of childbirth he hears everything: the moans of his mother, her screams, the teams of doctors, and sometimes even the curses with which you shower your husband. It is not uncommon, by the way, when women in the delivery room curse their husbands for nothing. Yes, the kid hears this too, but do not worry – he will not remember any of this.
