The 4-year-old Giselle is like many children who are fans of the world of Disney. Since her first visit to the amusement park in Florida, the little one can not do without her favorite super heroes. “She doesn’t communicate verbally, but you can see her face light up as soon as you arrive. She loves to walk around and say hello to everyone, ”her mom Kristina confides in. It is also seeing the joy that the magic of Disney brings to their little girl that her parents decided to take her regularly to this park, once a month, said her mother. “Every time we go there, Giselle becomes more and more confident. She uses the few words that she masters, she is no longer so shy, ”explains Kristina.
Professional photographer Kristina thus had the idea of photographing her little girl in this magical world, with outfits that she herself designed. The result is just splendid. Through from her beloved princess, Kristina wants to change the way people look at her daughter’s handicap. She would like them to simply see “a little girl having fun, enjoying life to the fullest during this beautiful period of innocence”. She adds: “I don’t want people to see my daughter only through her Down syndrome. The disease is part of what it is but that’s not all, it is so much more than that ”.
