Although the acidification of the body has a bad connotation (and rightly so, because it has a very negative effect on the body), proper acidification of the stomach gives us a lot of good. The reaction in this part of the body should be very acidic, so that e.g. sterilize food from viruses, parasites or bacteria, and properly digest protein. How to acidify the stomach and why do it?

The natural destiny of the stomach is to work in a very acidic environment. When this happens, we feel good and we are not bothered by various ailments from this organ. For example, acid reflux occurs when the pH of gastric juices is greater than 2 or 2,5. Unfortunately, the symptoms of acidification and hypoacidity are so similar that many doctors are wrong in their diagnosis.

Benefits of acidifying the stomach

A stomach that has the right level of acids can easily neutralize the additives that are dangerous to health, which are in the food we eat. If there is too little acid, the chemicals contained in food can cause the formation of nitrosamines, which have a carcinogenic effect.

Although it does not work in every case, because each body is different, acidification of the stomach has already cured many people from numerous ailments. This was verified, among others, in case of:

  • psoriasis,
  • atopika dermatitis;
  • Hashimoto,
  • so-called anemia malicious,
  • Fofona ratsy.

How to acidify the stomach?

First of all, it is worth checking at home whether we need it. The simplest test is to use 1/2 cup of water and 1/2 teaspoon of SODA. If the gas (CO2) burp occurs before 90 seconds, the acidity of the stomach is normal. If this occurs later, the acidification is already less, and if it occurs after 3 minutes or not at all, then the acidification can be considered insufficient. Such a test does not give XNUMX% certainty, but in home conditions it is actually the only option to check the acidification status. It is best to do it in the morning, after getting out of bed, or e.g. before dinner, but then you should wait at least an hour before eating something (in order to neutralize gastric juices).

For acidification in an adult, we use ¼ cup of water and two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar. We do it about 10-15 minutes before a meal, especially a high-protein one, i.e. one containing meat and vegetables. It is good to start such a “treatment” with small amounts.
